We all want to be happy, productive, and healthy. Some people just seem to be able to balance it all, without the stress and anxiety of day-to-day life getting to them. Balance is an important part of decreasing stress and anxiety in our lives. That means learning our limits and boundaries and implementing self-care into our daily routine. But how exactly do we do that?
Gaining the appropriate tools and skills to help you gain more confidence and self-esteem is key. Exploring negative core beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors is important in identifying the tools needed to live a more satisfying life. Processing early childhood experiences, unresolved trauma, and poor interpersonal relationships is also important.
I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to create a treatment plan that encompasses all goals. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, as well as motivational interviewing, collaborative problem solving, and solution-focused therapy.
