Description: As most of us know, we didn’t learn business planning or marketing techniques in graduate school. The #1 question people asked me during workshops and in our Facebook group, My Private Practice Collective, is “How do I get clients?”. I’m here to tell you my strategies that have helped me double in income every year I’ve been doing private practice full-time. Nine years ago when I started my practice, I was the DIY Queen. Mondays were my slow day and I worked for hours on a website that did NOTHING for me! When I began to use Facebook and Google to market my practice, I did it all myself and I didn’t have a plan. I listened to some podcasts and I read blog posts but I knew I needed to create a solid and ethical business plan for myself because I had big dreams. Amanda Landry is a published author of the book, “Guided Journal for Women with Anxiety.” As a licensed therapist for more than 15 years, she has helped teenagers overcome depression and anxiety, go off to college, and become successful in their lives. Amanda is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Addictions Professional, National Certified Counselor, and private practice consultant. She owns a group practice called Caring Therapists, with several locations throughout Florida that specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, stress management, increasing self-worth, incorporation of meditation and mind/body connection, mood management, anxiety reduction, empowerment and work/life balance. Amanda focuses on treating anxiety and depression in teens and adults through holistic and evidence-based practices. She is a believer in holistic treatment, practices vegetarianism, meditation, and yoga, and is an avid reader. Amanda is a private practice consultant with My Private Practice Collective, an online community for therapists with over 17,000 members.
